Walking to Aldgate yesterday I noticed an unusual sculpture inside a new office block – One Creechurch Place – and went inside to ask about it.

The receptionists asked the guard, who told me with a smile that it was called Uranus.
Here it is – I really like it, especially the sideways view revealing a totally different perspective.
I’ve looked up the artist – Zachary Eastwood – and it’s apparently part of a group of sculptures celebrating classical imagery using cutting edge technology.
This one reminds me of the Italian futurist Umberto Boccioni’s work- what do you think?
