Yesterday I went to the City of London Police open day at their HQ in Wood Street, and look who I met – the real life Line of Duty AC 12 team – aka “Professional Standards Directorate”
They were very friendly and I performed some magic for them – not sure if it was my hypnotic powers but they now want to come on one of my City Walks!
I also saw some alarming weapons ancient and modern on display too.
I also met a very nice volunteer at the Police Museum called Michael and discovered he is applying for the same Westminster Guide course that I am – we’ve both been asked to talk about the same place too, the Suffragette sculpture in Christchurch Gardens.
Let’s hope we both get into the course!
